British Egg Week: 9th - 15th October 2017

All our eggs are from our farm in Netherton, from birds reared carefully by ourselves from chicks.
Talk about traceability and being locally sourced.

They are usually no more than a day old when sold as we sell so many on a daily basis. 2 days old max! Beat that supermarkets

Our selection of super-fresh eggs:

Small
Medium
Large
Extra Large
Super Jumbo!
Duck and Quail's Eggs*
Outdoor eggs – from the hens roaming outside

Where else can you buy so many sizes and so freshly laid?

We even offer trays of 30 at a discounted rate to save you money.

Currently we have a fabulous offer on (whilst stocks last) for Small Eggs (the lovely small ones birds first lay before growing bigger and then laying larger ones) at just £1.99 for a tray of 30!

Egg facts:

  • Eggs contain the highest quality protein you can buy.
  • An average hen lays 300 to 325 eggs a year.
  • Egg protein has just the right mix of essential amino acids needed by humans to build tissues. It is second only to mother’s milk for human nutrition
  • As a hen grows older she produces larger eggs.
  • To tell if an egg is raw or hard-cooked, spin it! If the egg spins easily, it is hard-cooked but if it wobbles, it is raw.
  • Egg yolks are one of the few foods that are a naturally good source of Vitamin D.
